Penelopes has a comfortable green
room with tea and coffee making
facilities.
Disabled Access
We have full access.
Drinks Menu
Penelopes offers a wide range of
bottled lagers and beers from
around the world, cocktails, a variety
of spirits, fruit juices, energy drinks,
and guest oddball specials
Equipment Hire
We can arrange equipment hire at
reduced rates. Please note that for
safety reasons that any equipment
brought into the venue must be
accompanied by a P.A.T certificate.
Load-in
Load in is by arrangement.
Load-out
We request that all production is
de-rigged and taken off the premises
after the event unless alternative
arrangements are made in advance
with the venue management.
Location
Penelopes is in the centre of Sheffield
on Arundel Gate opposite Sheffield
Theatres in a complex shared by
O2 Academy and the Odeon Cinema.

short walk from the train station,
every bus and Castle Square tram
stop.
Parking
Parking is well serviced by the NCP
Car Park in the same building. Local
on street parking is free after 6.30 pm.
Security
Penelopes has an S.I.A, licensed
security team who are always polite,
friendly and efficient.
Sound and Light Engineers
Sound and lighting engineers are on hand
as required by the band. Please ensure that
sound checks prior to events are discussed
with the venue manager.
Special Requests
We are happy to talk about these.
Decor
We request that any branding or dressing
in the venue should be discussed with the
venue management prior to the event.
Decor sets are also available to hire, ask
the venue management for details.

Having already worked closely with several organisations,
including
Doc Fest. Tramlines, Channel 4, Brit Doc Foundation,
Off the Shelf, Doc
Heads, Sheffield City Council, NHS,
Warp Films, The Millennium Galleries and several record labels.
We opened Tramlines in 2010 and are well
versed in delivering
excellent events to meet you precise requirements.
We have been involved in raising funds for many groups &
organisations,among
them The British Heart Foundation,
Specialist Care for an Individual
Child (name with-held
here to protect privacy) with Ian Brown, Disaster
Emergency
Committee (Haiti Appeal) Water Aid, Oxjam and locally
Peace in
the Park.
We have recently been adopted by the Sheffield Steel
Roller Girls Team, and are proud to be their Official Venue.
